Slow Start Valve Modular

The CKD Modular Slow Start Valve is designed to gradually introduce compressed air into a pneumatic system during start-up, preventing sudden pressure surges that could damage components or pose safety risks. Ideal for integration into modular FRL (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator) units, this valve supports smooth and controlled system pressurisation.

Using a time-delay function or pressure-dependent release, the slow start valve allows the downstream system to fill progressively, reducing the risk of cylinder or actuator bounce and prolonging equipment lifespan. Once normal operating pressure is reached, the valve switches to full-flow mode automatically. It’s the perfect solution for machinery that requires safe, repeatable start-up procedures.
