Installation Tips

• Ensure the air pump receives a clean, fresh air supply.
• After a pump failure, check the back pressure; we can supply pressure gauges to assist with this.
• Protect the pump from potential flooding; while rainproof, it is not waterproof.
• Maintain tubing pipe diameter close to the pump outlet to reduce artificial pressure and extend diaphragm life.
• For aquatic applications with small-bore manifolds, keep at least one tap fully open to alleviate pressure from air stones.
• Clean the filter regularly—annually at a minimum, or more frequently if dirt ingress is suspected.
