QS-12 Series Gas springs
Efficient and Compact Gas Springs for Various Applications
Standard QS series gas springs are available from stock. The force can be individually adapted to your requirements using a valve and our inert gas filling system. This is a great advantage for small and medium batches.
Compression gas springs can be used in all applications where the lifting and lowering of masses must be controlled.
They are used in particular to:
- Assist the movement of a load by limiting human or mechanical effort and without external energy input (hood opening)
- To balance the weight of a mass (table top)
- Adjust and maintain a locked position (chair back)
- Push, pull, lower or position a load
Our Bansbach compression gas springs are maintenance-free, self-contained and available from stock. Their integrated grease chamber allows for lower peeling force, reduces friction and ensures a longer service life.
The QS-12, QS-15, QS-19, QS-22, QS-28, QS-40 models are equipped with valves to achieve the desired force for all applications.
The piston rod and tube are made of steel for standard models or aluminum on request. The stem is treated with an environmentally friendly process for ceramizing the surface of the steel called CeramPro®. The tube is treated with electrostatic powder coating, which has a higher lifespan, impact and scratch resistance than liquid paint. The fasteners and joints are made of lead-free steel or aluminum.
