MC-damper with floating piston
If the installation length is horizontal or undefined, the free travel of the standard version can cause problems. For this reason, Bansbach also offers a type of damper with a floating piston. Here, the oil and gas compartments are separated to ensure even damping. To stabilise the floating piston, it is pressurised to at least 20 N. Depending on how the floating piston is arranged, the damper can be set up with the necessary stability in either the compressive or tensile directions.
