The safety shock absorbers from the SDH38 to SDH63 product family provide an intelligent protection solution, particularly for emergency stop applications. With these absorbers – which are maintenance-free and supplied ready for immediate use – strokes of up to 1200 mm are possible. Thanks to their large strokes, only low support forces are generated.
The characteristic curve or damping characteristics of these safety shock absorbers is/are tailored to the specific requirements of the respective application. The metering orifices are calculated and produced accordingly. These tailored machine elements are the ideal solution because they are more cost-effective than industrial shock absorbers and are also extremely effective, supporting up to 1000 possible load cycles.
