The way to counter vibrations from unbalanced masses
High-performance preloaded bearings for the efficient isolation of vibrations and structure-borne noise in low-frequency applications
Application examples
Compressors and ventilation systems, centrifuges, vibrators and crushers, blowers, off-road vehicles, shipbuilding, defence sector, injection moulding systems, control cabinets
The Compression Mounts are an impressive family of high-performance preloaded bearings with a natural frequency of 4.5 Hz to 17.3 Hz. They have been specially designed to prevent the transmission of vibrations and structure-borne noise from unbalanced masses, and they provide efficient isolation for machinery and systems.
These robust machine elements are maintenance-free and optimise performance in low-frequency applications starting from around 15 Hz. The coupling option allows the system’s natural frequency to be reduced to an impressive 6 to 10 Hz. As a result, interference frequencies can be isolated effectively from a speed of 900 rpm (15 Hz). At 1500 rpm (25 Hz), they achieve an isolation level of 90%.
Made of galvanised metal and optionally available with neoprene or natural rubber, the Compression Mounts can be used in a wide temperature range from -30°C to +80°C.
These high-performance bearings from ACE are generally designed for vertical loads and are primarily used in industrial machinery, small motors, pumps and compressors. They offer a reliable solution for improving operating performance and reducing vibration and noise in demanding environments.
