Simple design – high reliability
Energy absorption: 25,000 Nm/stroke to 150,000 Nm/stroke, stroke: 105 mm to 180 mm
These self-compensating, viscoelastic shock absorbers have been designed according to the hydrostatic compression principle, which involves combining the functions of a shock absorber with those of a return spring. The advantages of this series are the high damping coefficients, low sensitivity to temperature fluctuations and increased safety thanks to the integrated static preload.
Viscoelastic shock absorbers are used in numerous heavy industry applications. Examples include: materials handling, rolling mills, defence, waterway engineering and the paper industry.
