Direct clamping on the shaft: The ACE LOCKED R product family offers an effective solution for blocking rotational movements. These clamping elements are available for shaft diameters ranging from 50 mm to 340 mm and can ensure very high holding torques.

The LOCKED R clamping elements use a diaphragm and a spring-plate system that immediately triggers clamping in the event of a pressure drop. Pneumatic fast-switching valves are used to achieve fast response times. The costs are lower compared to hydraulic clamping systems but without any reduction in performance. The compact and user-friendly designs match or exceed the performance of hydraulic clamping systems. Special versions for YRT bearings are available, along with active clamping elements. ACE recommends using the optional shaft flange for wear protection. Furthermore, the clamping force can be significantly increased with the additional air function.

The ACE clamping elements from the LOCKED R product family are used in (special purpose) machinery in order to block rotational movements on shafts. In this way, they help to increase the safety and efficiency of machines and systems.
