Compact and safe: The LOCKED PRK clamping elements offer an ideal solution whenever the available installation space is limited. Featuring low installation heights of 28 mm to 34 mm, these pneumatic rod clamps can deliver clamping forces of up to 5000 N.
Clamping is performed by a diaphragm spring-plate system and the clamp can be released with compressed air. The LOCKED PRK clamping elements are suitable for rods with diameters of between 20 mm and 40 mm, and can absorb forces both axially and rotationally. Their operating principle makes them absolutely ideal for static clamping in the event of a pressure drop, as they clamp immediately in the event of a compressed air failure. The LOCKED PRK clamping elements offer high clamping forces but the system costs are relatively low compared to hydraulic and electric solutions, making them particularly attractive.
