Vibration Isolation Plate

SLAB, CEL, and PAD: with three different types of pads, ACE provides users with the best custom isolation technology. ACE offers a comprehensive range of vibration isolation pads and customer-specific solutions.

 

SLAB products are universal damping pads manufactured from PUR materials according to a patented formula. The low-frequency damping CEL is made of nitrile rubber and can be bonded in multiple layers. The robust textile and elastomer pads of the PAD series are assembled in layers, which makes them very strong and versatile.

 

All three product families are available as standard pads, precisely cut for customer requests, or as special shapes.

 

PAD fiber and Elastomer Plates combine the positive properties of insulating elastomer bearing surfaces with the reinforcing effect of fiber fillings.

PADs are durable damping plates for use in heavy-duty applications (crane runways, steel and pipeline construction, coal, iron and steel industry). Due to their physical properties, PAD plates provide exceptional damping against shocks and impacts, and prevent structure-borne noise by isolating vibrations.

 

  • Depending on the shape and selected dimensions, PADs can withstand a maximum pressure load of (69 N / mm²)
  • Generally, the maximum surface pressure is 13,8 N / mm²
  • Thanks to the layered structure, the material exhibits excellent compressibility. This allows spring deflections to be achieved without material flow (special mounting corresponding to defined dimensions).
  • The excellent material properties are also evident in the very good creep behavior under load. For example, under continuous static load, it shows a creep tendency of approximately 5 %
  • Depending on the application, PADs can be custom-cut according to customer specifications and have an isolation/damping effect.
  • They can be used as discs and sleeves.
