PMG2 Series Mechanical Detectors

The PMG2 series mechanical detectors are mounted on VP series flat suction cups (group 2 suction cups) with a diameter of Ø30 to 60 mm, and on all material types. The mechanical detector is positioned to protrude outside the suction cup and closes the vacuum line. When activated by the object, the detector opens, allowing passage for the vacuum.

Materials

• Body: Nickel-plated brass
• Spring: Stainless steel
• Detector: Delrin brass (or Delrin and Brass)

Advantages

• Easy to install and use
• Provides high sealing in unoccupied suction cups
• Low risk of leaving marks on delicate objects thanks to the rounded surface of the detector

Flow/Leakage

No leakage occurs when all suction cups are correctly placed. This provides significant energy savings for the vacuum source (pneumatic ejector or electric vacuum pump).

Mounting

The detectors are mounted using a push-in method. The mounting of the detectors onto the suction cups should preferably be done by the manufacturer.
