Standard Gas Springs

Gas springs can be used in all types of applications where load lifting and lowering control is required. They support manual forces and are used to control the lifting and lowering movements of lids, flaps, and hoods. They are maintenance-free, self-contained products. Integrated grease chambers ensure lower break-out force, reduced friction, and a much longer service life. Industrial traction gas springs are effective in the pulling direction. Both types include a valve. This ensures that the required force is met in every type of application.

Dynamic Groove - Position-Independent Damping

In this gas spring variant, the damping characteristic of the gas spring can be adapted to the relevant customer requirements thanks to a groove mounted on the cylinder tube.

In this case, the damping is not achieved via a nozzle, as in conventional gas springs, but is controlled by the groove inside the cylinder. This provides many advantages. The damping in this variant is effective in every mounting position. Whether mounted horizontally or vertically, the damping characteristic is always the same.

• End-position damping in every mounting position (horizontal or piston up).
• Controlled damping is possible regardless of the position.
• Individual damping characteristics are possible throughout the entire stroke.
