Metric rolled ball screw systems are designed to provide quiet, smooth, and efficient operation. Ball screws are manufactured using Thomson's patented Precision Screw Forming (PSF) Technology, developed with German engineering. This method offers high precision (±23 µm / 300 mm standard) combined with the efficiency of rolling processes.

Ball nuts are produced with one of three different ball recirculation systems, depending on the screw diameter and lead. Thanks to their reinforced steel structure, they are extremely durable for demanding applications such as high speed, high load, or high temperature. They are also equipped as standard with profiled wipers that retain the lubricant and help remove fine contaminants like dust and dirt.
