Amerigear® SL and SF Mill Spindles are the ideal solution for medium torque applications with high misalignment tolerance and improved torque performance.
The SL Series (Straightener Type) and SF Series (Flange Type) mill shafts are designed for medium-torque rolling mill applications and auxiliary equipment where high misalignment tolerance is required and equipment is quickly and/or frequently disassembled and reassembled. These series offer some of the advanced design technologies found in higher-cost mill shafts.
Typical usage areas include auxiliary equipment drives such as straighteners, uncoilers, side trimmers, tension and delivery tables, pinch rolls, brush rolls, guiding systems, levelers, and scale breakers.
The SL Series shafts can also be used in applications where the center distance between shafts is limited and diameters are restricted.
