Pneumatic Knife Shafts

Due to continuous expansion reliefs, the Vorwald 405 L knife shafts are suitable for use with narrower circular knives or knife bushings for both cross and longitudinal cuts. The knife shaft transmits a very large torque combined with exceptionally high positioning accuracy. This economical and flexible shaft has an expansion system that is easily accessible from the outside and is available in almost any size. The support body is made of chrome with a smooth surface, meeting the most demanding requirements for quality and operation. The shaft couplings are also made of steel and can be produced according to customer request.
