Expanding Chucks

Vorwald Expanding Chucks are suitable for shaftless unwinders, rewinders, and slitting machines. The simple structure ensures a long service life. Several different types of expansion terminals are available to meet all requirements: longitudinally grooved expansion segments made of steel, smooth-surfaced expansion terminals made of polyurethane, or bolted versions with different surface profiles that can be quickly changed. The number and position of the terminals, referred to as the 'mantle' of the expanding chucks, are determined by customer needs.

Mechanical Adapters

Vorwald 900 Series adapters, with individual expansion lugs or leaf expansion, are critical when frequent changes between multiple core sizes are required.
