High-Performance, Simple Linear Unit with Steel-Reinforced Belt

 

The SMART SYSTEM product line includes linear actuators with a self-supporting anodized aluminum structure and a steel-reinforced belt. These linear units combine high performance with meticulously planned simplicity of construction, offering an exceptionally favorable price-performance ratio.

The SMART SYSTEM series consists of 3 different products with different features: E-SMART, R-SMART, S-SMART.

 

SMART SYSTEM – E-SMART

The E-SMART series linear units have a self-supporting extruded and anodized aluminum structure with four available profile sizes ranging from 30 mm to 100 mm Transmission is provided by a steel-reinforced toothed polyurethane belt, and the ball moves on a single rail with one or more recirculating slides.

 

SMART SYSTEM – R-SMART

The R-SMART series linear units are particularly suitable for heavy loads, pushing and pulling very heavy masses, stressful work cycles, the possibility of gantry or complete mounting, and operation on industrial automation lines. The self-supporting extruded and anodized aluminum structure with a rectangular cross-section is available in three sizes, ranging from 120 mm to 220 mm. Transmission is provided by a steel-reinforced toothed polyurethane belt, and the ball moves on a single rail with one or more recirculating slides. A multiple-carriage model is also available to further improve load capacity. The best uses for these units are situations where extremely heavy loads are moved in very tight spaces and where a possible machine stop for normal system maintenance is not permitted.

 

SMART SYSTEM – S-SMART

The S-SMART series linear units are produced to meet vertical movement needs, especially in gantry applications or applications where the aluminum profile needs to move while the carriage remains fixed. The self-supporting extruded and anodized aluminum structure, available in three sizes between 50 mm and 80 mm, is a rigid system and is ideal for creating a "Z" axis using a linear guide. In addition, the S-SMART series has been specifically designed and configured to be mounted with the R-SMART series linear actuators using a simple clamp.
