High Precision Ball Screw Linear Units

The PRECISION SYSTEM series linear units are self-supporting extruded aluminum and steel profile systems for the TK series, which can guarantee excellent precision. The movement is provided via recirculating ball precision screws with ball nuts, pre-loaded or not pre-loaded depending on the models. The use of recirculating ball bearing technology for the screws and rails guarantees high performance for the linear actuators, such as those listed below.

The Precision System series consists of 4 different products with different features: TH, TT, TV, TVS.

 

PRECISION SYSTEM - TH

The TH linear actuators with recirculating ball screws are rigid and compact, offering high performance and 5 µm repeatability, which allows for the achievement of high positioning accuracy in all operating phases. Power transmission is provided via highly efficient ball screws available in many precision classes and models. Linear motion is ensured by a system of two or four pre-loaded caged recirculating ball slides mounted on two parallel rails. The TH series has single or double carriage models to meet different load requirements. TH linear units also feature secure rail and screw lubrication, provided through a dedicated channel for each component. The incredibly compact structure of the TH actuator makes it ideal for applications where space is limited.

 

PRECISION SYSTEM - TT

The TT series is a linear actuator series generally used within a 23 µm high-precision positioning and 5 µm repeatability accuracy range. Manufactured using very rigid anodized aluminum extruded profiles, this actuator series is designed for heavy loads and precise movements typically required in machine tool and other precision machinery design applications. All mounting and reference surfaces are manufactured to guarantee a significant reduction in pitch, yaw, and roll deviations throughout the entire stroke. The heavy-duty carriage is operated by a pre-loaded C5 or C7 ball screw, and the load is supported by four slides mounted on two parallel guides. Higher speeds can be achieved by requesting extra-long ball screws. The TT series possesses all the necessary features and hardware to realize multi-axis configurations and is easy to assemble. All TT units have undergone 100% inspection and are supplied with a precision certificate.

 

PRECISION SYSTEM - TV

The TV Series linear units have a rigid anodized aluminum extruded structure with a square cross-section (rectangular in the case of the TV 140) and motion transmission is provided via a precision C5 or C7 ball screw.The load is supported by a dual-block, single linear guide system (dual-block/dual-guide system for TV 140), which guarantees high precision and high rigidity.
