NIASA N/W/R Series Screw Jacks are a combination of a screw and a gearbox. There are three configurations available to suit different requirements:
N: The screw moves when the reducer input shaft (worm shaft end) is activated. There is a round screw protection tube on the rear side.
W: The screw engages as in the N configuration, with the difference that the rear protective tube is square section, so it can be an anti-rotation screw. R: The screw does not move with the movement of the worm shaft, it simply rotates; the nut moves along the screw.
In applications where this is required, it is possible to protect the screw with a bellows (available in different materials), protecting it in the outdoor environment and making the screw jacks suitable for outdoor operations or environments with a certain atmospheric aggressiveness.
Screw jacks are often the most suitable technical and economical solution for applications requiring linear, precise and safe movement for transfer and elevation, generally for medium-heavy loads and medium-low speeds.
