FlowPack Vacuum Containers, FPC/FPCX series

The FPC/FPCX series stands for “FlowPack Cup”: it is the new suction cup that COVAL has specially developed for handling FlowPack packaging. It represents a true technological revolution for FlowPack, which is a continually evolving packaging method.

 

The FPC/FPCX series is based on three fundamental innovations:

• The thin and wavy, flower-shaped lip structure ensures perfect conformity, regardless of the shape of the packaging.
• Internal support studs that optimize the vacuum and increase gripping power while preventing the crushing of the product.
• Fittings with a lateral vacuum distributor that prevents loss of efficiency during product handling.
• Materials: Food-grade silicone and plastic parts, compliant with FDA and CE standards.

 

A Comprehensive Product Range

Available in 4 different sizes:

• Round, Ø35 mm, 1.5 bellows
• Round, Ø45 mm
• Round, Ø60 mm
• Elliptical, 120 x 100 mm 
• Material: Blue silicone suction cup and plastic fittings

FPC/FPCX suction cups comply with FDA food standards (FDA 21 CFR 177.2600) and are in full compliance with the European regulation (EC) 1935/2004.

• Two different hardness levels: 35 Shore and 50 Shore.

 

Adaptation to High Production Speeds

• Seamless use at high production speeds thanks to superior gripping quality
• Production line shutdowns caused by faulty gripping are eliminated.

• The FPC/FPCX series suction cups are made from silicone, which is preferred for its high temperature resistance and food safety. The plastic fittings also comply with food standards.
• The blue color of the suction cup allows for easy detection by visual inspection systems on production and packaging lines.

Energy Saving
