Hydraulic Dampers – A Versatile Solution for Speed Control

ACE hydraulic dampers are similar in appearance to industrial gas springs; however, they are adjusted in the end position and, unlike ACE’s DVC series, have separate speed settings for the pushing and pulling directions. This provides maximum flexibility for the user.

Whether used for driving stabilization or as a safety element, the retraction and extension speed can always be precisely adjusted with these solutions. This way, the speed of movement can be controlled, synchronization can be achieved in both directions, and oscillating loads can be balanced. Depending on the model, pushing and pulling forces range between 30 N and 40,000 N (6.75 lb - 2,023 lb). These maintenance-free and ready-to-install products are offered with body diameters between 12 mm and 70 mm, and stroke lengths up to 800 mm.
