Electrak® HD

The Linear Actuator provides flexible integrated controls, superior performance, and unmatched environmental protection. The Electrak HD is a new electric Linear Actuator model with integrated electronics, which eliminates the need for separate control. With force options up to 16,000N, it makes it easier for you to convert your hydraulic systems to electric systems. Thanks to its IP69K protection class, the Electrak HD Linear Actuator operates at high performance even in the toughest environments.

1. The new Electrak Modular Control System (EMCS) includes the foundation for the best built-in controls currently available in electric linear actuator models, along with optional built-in J1939 CAN bus support.

2. The feature-rich modular design for all control and feedback options is easy to use and housed within a single, compact body. It increases controllability, saves space, and reduces installation time and total cost.

• The built-in J1939 CAN bus option increases controllability, can eliminate individual controls, and simplifies OEM machine design
• Electronic trip point calibration provides consistent overload protection.
• Continuous monitoring of critical parameters such as end-of-stroke, voltage, current, and temperature is standard on all HD linear actuator models.
• Built-in dynamic braking reduces coasting at the end of the stroke and increases repeatability.
• Optional low-level switching and automatic sleep mode reduce the footprint, lower costs, and increase circuit isolation.
• Optional end-of-stroke indicator output for customer use, such as for interlocks.

3. Higher power and longer stroke lengths allow the Electrak HD to address applications outside the range of other electric linear actuator models.

• Higher load ranges up to 16 kN are ideal for hydraulic conversion applications.
•  Strokes up to 1 meter are possible for standard models, with strokes up to 500 mm for the 16 kN model.
• Efficient actuator design, including a high-quality ball screw, reduces current draw by up to 20%.

4. The Electrak HD has been tested to meet and exceed the most rigorous OEM mechanical and electronic component acceptance tests on the market today. Its IP69K (static), IP67 (static), and IP66 (dynamic) ratings prove that the Electrak HD can withstand the toughest environments.
