Application examples
There are multiple billing methods for e-charging stations. The most common are in-app billing and payment by credit card. In addition, the charging costs can be added to the energy bill you get from your energy supplier – depending on where you live and your living situation. The charging costs can also be invoiced via energy bills in the case of self-consumption communities (which allow people to share the energy they generate themselves in Switzerland). This page provides details of the five different billing methods that are available for charging stations with the eCarUp backend.
