Wide roller type freewheel without bearings for installation next to a ball bearing. For higher torques.
Type NF is a roller type freewheel without bearings. It is important to ensure proper mounting, lubrication, and sealing of the freewheel, as these functions are not provided by the freewheel itself.
The nominal outer diameter of the freewheel corresponds to the dimensions of certain standard ball bearing series. This freewheel is typically installed directly next to a bearing of this type with the same installation tolerance.
The outer diameter of the outer race has an n6 tolerance and the fit of the locating bore should have a tolerance of H7. There are also notches in the end faces of the outer race for transmitting the torque.
The end-face notches are not required if the housing is manufactured with a K6 tolerance. However, the housing must be dimensionally stable to ensure reliable support for the outer race. This is to ensure that the performance and functionality of the freewheel remain stable.
