Type AA is a roller type freewheel without bearings that requires the customer to provide proper bearings, lubrication and sealing. Oil lubrication is recommended.

Application examples
The example on the next page shows how this freewheel is typically installed. The torque on the inner race is transmitted via a keyway. The centring of the outer race should have an H7 fit, with the torque transmitted by grade 10.9 screws. The axial play of the freewheel allows the races to be displaced by the dimension S/2 on both sides.
