Detailed information

Application examples

Lubrication and sealing must be provided separately. DC freewheels of type N are compatible with the standard lubricants used in drive technology.

Careful attention must be paid to the dimension “e”. There must be no recesses or edges within this installation dimension, as these can affect the proper functioning of the freewheel.

The raceways can also consist of case-hardened shafts or bores in housings provided that the following specifications are observed: the surface hardness of the finished parts should be HRC 60 to 62, with a case depth of at least 0.6 mm, and the core hardness should be HRC 35 to 45. The surface roughness must not exceed Rz 6.3 and the maximum taper between races is 0.007 mm over a length of 25 mm. This is to ensure optimum freewheel performance and functionality in your application.
