The BPS stepper motor from BIBUS AG is the right choice for all situations where high accuracy has to be achieved under difficult conditions.

Function and precision:
In the case of the BPS stepper motor, rotary motion is achieved through the pneumatic control of three internal pistons. Depending on the control valve switching sequence, the motor performs a precise 3° clockwise/anti-clockwise movement per step. The BPS is also optionally available with a hollow shaft and spindle to generate linear motion. Thanks to its unique design, the BPS is synonymous with maximum accuracy. A constant tolerance of ±9' angular minutes is maintained, regardless of the number of steps or revolutions! 

Wide range of applications, even under extreme operating conditions: 
The BPS stepper motor really comes into its own in dusty or dirty environments or when there are strong magnetic fields. The pneumatic control allows problem-free operation even under the most difficult conditions.

A petite powerhouse with a self-locking function. Even the smallest model in the BPS stepper motor series delivers an impressive torque of 3.3 Nm, all within a compact diameter of 62 mm.
Thanks to the self-locking mechanism, the BPS retains its position even in the event of a power failure, with absolutely no step loss!

BPS IP67 version:
Specially protected motor housing for operation in explosion protection zones. Approved for explosion protection zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
