Thomson Super Smart Ball Bushing® Linear Bearings offer outstanding performance thanks to their state-of-the-art design. With a coefficient of friction of just 0.001, they enable you to use smaller and more cost-effective motors, belts, gears and ball screws compared to simple bearings with high friction. Their ability to self-align by up to 0.5° means they can compensate for inaccuracies in base flatness or during carriage machining. This is down to the Thomson Super Bearing Plates, which have a defined radius.
