Light barriers are used to detect, measure and distinguish objects in industrial and civil construction applications. Depending on the number and position of the light beams that detect an object, the light curtains can send real-time information to a PLC or PC. This makes it possible to ascertain the presence or absence of objects, count them, determine their position, detect shapes or profiles, and measure their dimensions.
