Coupling hubs with limitation of the end float for locating shafts mounted on plain bearings
The RINGFEDER TNZ ZCAK and TNZ ZCBK are special versions of the TNZ ZCA and TNZ ZCB couplings with limitation of the end float.
This limitation of the end float serves to axially locate a shaft that is mounted on plain bearings. This allows the rotor of an electric motor to be precisely aligned with the bearing of a driven machine so that the rotor remains within its magnetic centre during acceleration. However, the limitation of the end float constrains the ability to compensate for angular and radial shaft misalignments.
There are two versions: the TNZ ZCAK with integrated O-ring and the TNZ ZCBK with a separate, screwed-on O-ring support. This offers flexibility according to the requirements of your application.
