Torsionally flexible, compensates for angular, radial and axial shaft misalignment
Multi-piece design with flange hubs and brake disc.
The TNS SDDL-5-BS coupling is a torsionally flexible, fail-safe jaw coupling with a brake disc and removable claw rings. It compensates for angular, radial and axial shaft misalignment within defined ranges. The coupling transmits the torque via elastic buffers that are under compressive stress and are made of synthetic rubber (Pb) or polyurethane (Vk) – with Vk60D used as standard. The buffers are interconnected to form an intermediate ring. The flexible intermediate ring dampens shocks and torsional vibrations, and is oil-resistant.
