The RINGFEDER TNB BHDDV coupling is a torsionally flexible, fail-safe jaw coupling. It compensates for angular, radial and axial shaft misalignment within defined ranges.

Multi-piece design with VKR buffer – retractable claw rings for checking the direction of rotation: The coupling transmits the torque via elastic buffers that are under compressive stress and are made of synthetic rubber (Pb) or polyurethane (Vk) – with VkR used as standard. The elastic buffers dampen shocks and torsional vibrations and are oil-resistant. When the claw ring is retracted, the direction of rotation can be easily checked. The coupling can be used with any direction of rotation and in any installation position.
Benefits
In the case of short shaft distances, a pair of two-piece coupling hubs are combined with VkR buffers. Easy replacement of the elastic buffer without axial movement of the coupled machines.
