The RINGFEDER TNB BHD-BS coupling is a torsionally flexible, fail-safe jaw coupling. It compensates for angular, radial and axial shaft misalignment within defined ranges.
Version with a one-piece and a multi-piece coupling hub, brake disc
Three-piece coupling with VKR buffer – like the BHD type but with a brake disc: The coupling transmits the torque via elastic buffers that are under compressive stress and are made of synthetic rubber (Pb) or polyurethane (Vk) – with VkR used as standard. The elastic buffers dampen shocks and torsional vibrations and are oil-resistant. When the claw ring is retracted, the direction of rotation can be checked subject to certain conditions being met. The coupling can be used with any direction of rotation and in any installation position.
