The RINGFEDER TNB BHD coupling is a torsionally flexible, fail-safe jaw coupling. It compensates for angular, radial and axial shaft misalignment within defined ranges.

Three-piece design with VKR buffer – retractable claw ring: The coupling transmits the torque via elastic buffers that are under compressive stress and are made of synthetic rubber (Pb) or polyurethane (Vk) – with VkR used as standard. The elastic buffers dampen shocks and torsional vibrations and are oil-resistant. One half of the coupling is divided into a flange hub and a claw ring. When the claw ring is retracted, the drive’s direction of rotation can be easily checked. The coupling can be used with any direction of rotation and in any installation position.
