GWE 5103 elastomer jaw couplings
Highly compact with clamping hubs.
The clamping hubs clamp the hubs onto the shaft. Due to the resulting frictional torque, the force can be transmitted with or without a keyway.
Balancing coupling with single-slit clamping hubs and a short overall length
The backlash-free jaw couplings that make up the GWE 5103 series impress with their compact design. The product consists of two long single-slit coupling hubs with high radial run-out accuracy and an elastomer spider, which is available in various degrees of Shore hardness. The shaft tolerance should be within a fit tolerance of “g6” to “h7”.
The elastomer spider results in a flexible jaw coupling that is backlash-free, fail-safe, damped and electrically insulated.
