RINGFEDER RfN 4061 corrosion-resistant, stainless steel shrink discs have a high torque capacity. Forged alloy steel thrust rings and stainless steel screws for ideal stress distribution and maximum corrosion resistance. Same transmission values as RfN 4061. Adjustable preload force.
Product features
- Standard series for high torques – This shrink disc for high transmission values can be adapted to the requirements of the design by changing the screw tightening torque.

- Easily replaceable – the RINGFEDER shrink discs do not involve any kind of positive locking.
- Easy mounting – no steps, keyways or pins are required. Can be mounted at any point on the shaft using standard screws and commercially available tools. No additional machining or fitting work is required.
- Easy removal – after loosening the clamping screws, the RINGFEDER shrink disc will self release and the hub will move freely on the shaft.
- Low susceptibility to contamination – a longer service life, as the functional contact surfaces are pressed firmly together when the clamping screws are tightened, thereby preventing the ingress of dirt and moisture.
