This 3-piece locking assembly, specifically designed for transmitting bending moments, features reduced stresses within the assembly. As a result, the required loads can be transmitted safely and reliably using a single locking assembly of type RfN 7515. During assembly, the locking assembly and hub undergo slight axial displacement.

A special feature of this locking assembly is its ability to combine both bending moments and radial loads during their transmission. For specific applications and loads, we recommend contacting our specialists to identify the optimum solution.

The wide design of the locking assembly ensures excellent centring ability, which is advantageous in various applications. Some example applications for this locking assembly are belt drums and press drives.

Changing the screw tightening torques

It is possible to reduce the contact pressure and the transmission values by lowering the screw tightening torque. The permissible lower limit is calculated by multiplying the TA values by 0.5. There is a direct relationship between the values of T, TA , Fax, pW and pN.
