Reduced contact pressure for thin-walled hubs
Transmits high combined forces and moments. Very good centring capability.
Our RfN 7015.1 precision locking assembly is specially designed for reliable transmission of high torques and axial forces. At the same time, it meets special requirements concerning the radial run-out of the clamped parts and is also suitable for applications where bending moments occur.
One of the outstanding features of this locking assembly is that it reduces contact pressure on the shaft and hub. This not only ensures the dependable transmission of forces, but also helps to protect the components involved.
Precision and reliability are extremely important in belt drums and press drives – just two examples of applications where the RfN 7015.1 locking assembly truly shines.
The values for T, Fax, pW and pN apply to oil-lubricated, installed locking assemblies.
For shaft and hub bore Ra ≤ 3.2 μm
We recommend the following installation tolerances
Shaft: h8; Hub: H8
A maximum of 2 locking assemblies can be installed directly one after the other. In this case, the transmission values from the table need to be doubled.
It is possible to reduce the contact pressure and the transmission values by lowering the screw tightening torque. The permissible lower limit is calculated by multiplying the TA values by 0.5. There is a direct relationship between the values of T, TA , Fax, pW and pN.
