Our precision locking assembly is designed for reliable transmission of the highest possible torques and axial forces. At the same time, it meets stringent requirements concerning the radial run-out of the clamped parts. This locking assembly is also ideal for applications where bending moments occur.

The outstanding centring ability of this locking assembly ensures precise alignment and dependable force transmission. What’s more, it is capable of handling combined bending moments and radial loads.

  • Large transmissible peripheral forces – the long, flat angles of the cones enable the highest possible torques and axial forces to be transmitted with a single RfN 7015.0 locking assembly. During assembly, the locking assembly, shaft and hub all remain correctly positioned in relation to each other, ensuring additional safety compared to 3-piece versions. The shaft and hub are only compression-loaded.
  • Bending moments and radial loads – combined loads can be transmitted.

The values for T, Fax, pW and pN apply to oil-lubricated, installed locking assemblies.

Shaft: h8; Hub: H8

Arrangement of several RfN 7015.0 locking assemblies

A maximum of 2 locking assemblies can be installed directly one after the other. In this case, the transmission values from the table need to be doubled.

Changing the screw tightening torques

It is possible to reduce the contact pressure and the transmission values by lowering the screw tightening torque. The permissible lower limit is calculated by multiplying the TA values by 0.8. There is a direct relationship between the values of T, TA , Fax, pW and pN.
