W40 internally cooled motors

W40 motor: High performance, IP23 protection class, compliance with global standards and suitable for universal use

The W40 motor is a through-ventilated, open induction motor with a high power density and a protection class of IP23. The motors in this series meet or exceed the efficiency levels set by international standards and comply with the minimum efficiency requirements that are being established by regulatory frameworks worldwide.

This enables a power increase of up to 1400 kW at 50 Hz. This new series features a completely fresh design with low noise levels, improved mechanical strength and better heat dissipation.
