W22XdB flameproof enclosure II B T4
The newly developed W22Xd series is a range of state-of-the-art drive units for potentially explosive atmospheres. The mechanical concept of the W22Xd series builds on the fundamental design of our standard W22 motor but incorporates several innovative new features. These include a housing design adapted to the explosion protection class, with new cooling fins and feet for enhanced mechanical rigidity and outstanding heat dissipation; newly designed end shields to lower bearing operating temperatures and extend relubrication intervals; and a modern cooling system that reduces noise levels while significantly improving heat dissipation.
The W22XdB motors with flameproof enclosure are available in energy efficiency classes IE2, IE3 and IE4 according to EN 60034-30.
