Bearing-supported compact design with threaded bores for a wide range of applications. Can be combined with a large number of stan
Types GFR and GFRN are roller type freewheels. They are supplied as bearing-supported basic units with two series 160... ball bearings.
Oil lubrication is required as standard. Ideally, these freewheels should be installed inside a housing that already features lubrication and sealing.
The GFR and GFRN freewheels are normally installed with standard flanges that transmit the torque and are equipped with shaft sealing rings and oil screws. The flanges are used in pairs; possible combinations are shown on the pages that follow.
The outer race of type GFR is ground and can accommodate transmission elements bored to H7 tolerance. The torque is transmitted by screws.
In the case of type GFRN, there is a keyway on the outer diameter for torque transmission. Each part is supplied with two flat seals. These must be fitted between the outer race and the flanges to ensure a reliable seal.
