Application examples
Oil lubrication must be used in the case of this product. This housed freewheel is used in alternating two-motor drives in equipment such as fans, turbines and pumps.
The housing of the freewheel has an optimised cooling surface and a large oil volume, thereby ensuring a high level of safety for systems that run continuously without being constantly monitored. Elastic couplings are normally used to establish the connections to the driving and driven machines.
During the overrunning process, a special oil guide ensures hydrodynamic lubrication of the rollers. The oil is continuously filtered through built-in strainers to maintain the quality of the lubrication.
