Application examples
This freewheel is generally used as an overrunning clutch and is equipped with a KEE elastic coupling for tandem installation. The KEE coupling is particularly suitable for applications that involve high torsional vibrations and for compensating for installation errors without excessively increasing the bearing load.
The designation “D2” refers to an end cover with two oil screws on the circumference. These are used for filling and draining the oil and for monitoring the oil level.
It is recommended to order the freewheel as a fully assembled unit. In this case, you must specify the overrunning direction of the inner race as seen from the perspective of looking at the D2 cover. This ensures that the freewheel is configured correctly according to the specific requirements.
