Application example
The dimensions of this freewheel match those of ball bearing series 60. Torque is transmitted via a press fit on the inner and outer races. The initial bearing radial clearance is set at C4. The press fits are achieved by the freewheel tolerances to allow mating fits that conform to standard bearing designs, i.e. a shaft fit of h6 or j6 and a housing fit of K6.
The radial load ratings are specified in the table. It is important to note that this freewheel cannot absorb axial forces. If axial forces need to be transmitted, additional bearings should be provided. This freewheel is well suited to applications where only radial loads are transmitted.
