Application examples
Only this inner race is suitable for the overrunning motion. Unlike the models described previously, the freewheel is supported by bearings in this case and is used as an overrunning clutch in auxiliary or starter drives. In such applications, the overrun speed is high and the driving speed is low. It is extremely important not to exceed the speed values specified in the relevant tables.
The RIZ basic unit is used in combination with an ES... elastic coupling and a G2 cover. This type of coupling offers a cost-effective solution that is both robust and versatile.
The inner race must perform the overrunning motion and is therefore connected to the driven shaft. When ordered as a complete unit, this product comes pre-filled with grease, enabling easier maintenance and start-up. Units can be installed both horizontally and vertically, allowing flexible installation in various application areas.
