Additions and possible combinations for the DC sprag cages.
The DC races are specially designed for use with DC sprag cages.
Combining a freewheel cage with DC races results in a freewheel without bearings. However, bearings must also be installed to absorb the axial and radial forces, and lubrication and sealing must be provided.
IMPORTANT: The sprag space tolerance must not be exceeded when all assembly tolerances are added together.
The maximum taper between the races is 0.007 mm over a length of 25 mm. In the case of types “A” and “B”, the outer races must be pressed into dimensionally stable housings to ensure reliable support. This is to ensure that the performance and functionality of the freewheel remain stable in the application.
