SC190 to SC925

The abbreviation “SC”, which can be found in the name of the miniature shock absorbers from the SC190 to SC925 product family, stands for “soft contact”. These shock absorbers are made from a solid material and have been designed to offer a choice between a linear or a progressive deceleration curve. Their soft damping behaviour is down to the fact that they have been specially designed with longer strokes to generate very low support forces.

These maintenance-free and ready-to-use hydraulic machine elements also have an integrated positive stop. If a side load adapter is used, impact angles of up to 25° are possible. Thanks to the very small overlapping weight ranges, these shock absorbers can cover an effective mass range of less than one kilogramme up to more than 2000 kilogrammes.

The miniature shock absorbers from the SC190 to SC925 product family are mainly used in mechanical engineering – particularly the areas of handling and automation, where soft damping is required.
