The MN3/MN4 solenoid valve island was already compact but has now been made 24% smaller while retaining the same flow rate. Previously, the series MN3/MN4 valve bank from CKD was only available with SUB-D plugs but it can now also be supplied with appliance plugs. This makes the entire valve island much more compact, as it does away with the internal cabling and the end block for the multi-contact plug. The SUB-D type still forms part of the product range, with a combination of both connections also possible. This means that some valves can be equipped with the appliance plug while the others are connected via the SUB-D plug. The different valve configurations – such as 2x3/2-way or 5/3-way options – are still available for both widths of 7 mm and 10 mm, as well as the optional pressure regulator, which can be inserted directly into the valve bank. All valves are equipped with the tried-and-tested manual emergency override/locking mechanism. 12 VDC or 24 VDC power supplies are available.
