The latest generation of series 3QR products from CKD maintain the status of the valve even in the event of a power failure without the need for additional installations. The new series retains the familiar features of the 3/2-way valves in the 3QR series – such as a flow rate of 90 Nl/min combined with dimensions of just 10 x 20 x 46 mm and a weight of only 19 grams. The other main feature that sets it apart is the new coil, which keeps the valve in position even in the event of a power failure. This enables compliance with many safety standards while also reducing energy requirements and heat generation. The short response times of just 4 ms or 1.5 ms and the high flow rate enable short switching times and support rapid venting of the valves.
With a life expectancy of over 100 million cycles, this valve series also meets the required standard of quality.
These valves can be mounted either on a manifold base with up to 20 valve slots or directly by using an M5 thread with appropriate hose connections. As you would expect, this CKD series is also RoHS-compliant.
